Here are the scores and the results of the Gilas Pilipinas game scheduled on September 6, 2019 (Friday).
Philippines Gilas Pilipinas Vs Tunisia Updates
This will be the fourth outing of Team Philippines in the 2019 FIBA World Cup held in Wukesong Arena, Beijing, China. This evening they’ll go up against the world’s ranked number 51 in FIBA basketball, the team Tunisia.
Ranking wise Gilas Pilipinas has the edged as they’re currently at number 31. Yet, the Tunisian squad is no pushover and ready to put up a challenge.
In Tunisia’s group stage, they were able to topple the FIBA World’s ranked 27, team Iran and they gave a tough time versus team Puerto Rico in their battle for the second round ticket.
For Gilas, we saw a glimpse of the real talent of our national team against team Angola. The “PUSO!” spirit was very visible as they refused to lose that game and pushed it to overtime.
Though they still ended with another loss yet the Gilas players’ winning spirit is now awake.
