Here are the live scores, updates, and results of the FIBA Asia Cup 2021 Qualifiers between the Gilas Pilipinas and team South Korea, scheduled on June 20, 2021, at 3:00 PM live from AUF Sports Arena in Clark, Pampanga in the Philippines.

The young cadets of Gilas Pilipinas are eager to make a repeat victory against the South Korean squad and wanted to show to the world that their triumph last Wednesday is no fluke.

To boost Gilas’ chances against a team that heavily relies upon the three-point area as their main offensive weapon, the national basketball team calibrated its roster and reactivated few players who were instrumental during their June 16 win.

Mike Nieto, William Navarro, and Jaydee Tungcab are now back on the Gilas roster who will make their appearance in the three o’clock schedule.

They will be replacing Javi Gomez De Liano, LeBron Lopez, and Carl Tamayo. Tamayo is one of the players who scored in double figures with his 10 points. He was also impressive against their match versus team Indonesia where he sparked Gilas’ run in the fourth quarter by nailing two 3-pointers. Yet, he was pulled from the court after he sprained his ankle.

SJ Belangel, Kai Sotto, and Ange Kouame are also part of today’s lineup along with Dwight Ramos. These four players were instrumental in their win against South Korea particularly Belangel who took centerstage by beating the buzzer.

Fans are expecting another epic battle from these squads though both of them are already qualified for the upcoming FIBA Asia Cup which is scheduled this August.
