Kia Picanto on the other hand still looking for answers on how to stop their losing streak. Coach Chris Gavina already brewing up the needed pill in their next game.
“I can’t have guys who I believe are supposed to finish out a game give up,” said Gavina after the TNT game.
“From here on in, the guys who are showing me fight will play,” added Gavina. “I don’t care if they play 40 minutes. That’s who we’ll be playing because that’s the only way we’re going to win – play team defense and play with a pure desire as if this is everybody’s last game.”
Kia gave Talk ‘N Text a scare last Sunday. They were down by as much as 17 points but were able to make a run and closed the gap to just 5 in the fourth quarter.
However, the runner-up of the second conference shows more grit and eventually won the game.
