The Barangay Ginebra San Miguel is scheduled for a head-to-head semi-finals game against the Magnolia Hotshots Pambansang Manok at 7:00 P.M. on November 16, 2018 live from the Ynares Center, Antipolo.

The Gin Kings are looking to live another day when their semis series against the Hotshots resumes tonight in Antipolo. Magnolia already have two wins and one more for the ticket going to the Finals round.

Although fan-favorite Ginebra still down with 1-2 but if you look the other way around, this is like a quarterfinals scenario for them. They needed to win twice to advance to the Finals and once again defend their crown.

If their Governors’ Cup rival, the Meralco Bolts able to defy the odds when they beat the Phoenix Fuel Masters in their first round of the playoffs, the Gin Kings has the potential to replicate it.

To strengthen their chances to win Game 3, Ginebra activated Joe Devance.

“It’s all or nothing now from this point on. I don’t care about my foot right now,” Devance said.

Magnolia looked poised to go all the way in that Game 3 of semi-finals edition of “Manila Classico”. The Hotshots went sizzling hot in the second quarter as they outscored Ginebra, 36-19.

Yet, Coach Tim Cone and his wards are not yet ready for a vacation as they answered back a 37-23 third quarter run. That was the moment that the “Never-Say-Die” spirit is on display.

“We certainly didn’t invent the NSD (never-say-die)… but we’re proud to represent the NSD. At halftime it looked like we weren’t going to be able to live up to it. Somehow we did. You’ve gotta give the players an incredible amount of credit,” said Cone.
