The Barangay Ginebra San Miguel is scheduled for a best-of-seven semi-finals series against the San Miguel Beermen at 7:00 P.M. on March 15, 2018 live from the Mall of Asia Arena.

The Beermen wanted to have a complete control of the series by targeting a 3-1 lead while the Gin Kings are looking to convert the Best-of-Seven into a Best-of-Three when 2017-18 PBA Philippine Cup semis resumes tonight at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Not only the phyiscal games are getting intense but also the emotions of the players. Arwind Santos got slapped with a hefty fine of 25,000 PHP after he made a “shadow” statement after Game 3.

“What went wrong? Medyo ano eh… May mga shadow eh… Parang may mga shadow yung mga players kanina eh. Parang yung lima nagiging walo,” the former Far Eastern University star said.

“Parang ganun eh. Kaya parang nahihirapan kami bantayan kasi lima lang yung kalaban, pero nagiging walo. Ewan ko kung sobrang bilis kaya may shadow?”

Also, included on that fine was his flagrant foul infraction against Barangay Ginebra big-man Japeth Aguilar.

Chris Ross of the Beermen got sidelined during the second half due to a strained thigh but the SMB guard is expected to join his team in Game 4.

“I’ll be ready, I’ll be a warrior,” said Ross.

Without Ross in the Beermen lineup, LA Tenorio went loss and made heavy damage against their opponent. Tenorio logged 18 points, five rebounds and dished out two assists while his teammate Japeth Aguilar added 25 points along with his 12 rebounds.

Greg Slaughter will continue to be doubtful and still no one exactly knows when he will return. The 7’0 center of “Never-Say-Die” squad will remain a game time decision.

“His status has not changed. He’s day to day and will be a game time decision for Game Four,” said Ginebra coach Tim Cone.
