Gloria Diaz was the queen of the 1969 Miss Universe while Catriona Gray took home the crown in this years version of the said most prestigious beauty contest.
Catriona became a serious contender of the 2018 Miss Universe after her magnificent performance in the preliminary round.
Her lava walk and her slo-mo turn during the swimwear competition turned the heads of many followers of the said beauty competition.
Then she finished it off with her splendid response in the Question and Answer portion plus her stunning red dress which symbolizes the lava of the Mayon Volcanoe in the final round.
