The Iloilo United Royals is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Bataan Risers at 6:30 P.M. on July 1, 2019 live from the Blue Eagle Gym, Quezon City.
The United Royals wanted to pick up their second victory and keep their unblemished record while the Risers will try to avenge their defeat which they absorbed from their previous outing when the 2019 Lakan Cup continue this evening in Quezon City.
The Iloilo squad used their speed to out-run the Parañaque Patriots in their recent match.
The United Royals lost most of the important stats but they shine in fast-break points department, 14-7. Probably the main reason of their 67-64 victory.
Rodel Samboy De Leon paced the Ilonggo squad with his 18 points and four rebounds performance.
For the Bataan squad on the other hand, They were down by nine points as they entered the fourth quarter during their last game versus the Valenzuela SPV Top Marketplace.
Yet, they were able to catch-up their opponent at the end of the fourth quarter and pushed the game into overtime.
However in the extra period, the Valenzuela squad were able to hold them as the Risers managed only to score eight points against 14.
Antonio Rafael Asistio paced Bataan with his 15 points, three rebounds and five assists output.
