Pride Detergent, one of the top detergent company in the nation, unveiled their latest advertisement, however, this time around it’s not about what benefits their detergent will bring to consumers but they made a “reminder” among the Filipino voters to vote wisely.
The advertising campaign of the said detergent company appears to be merely a regular ads yet after closer assessment it seems like a strike up against the presidential opponents of Mar Roxas in the 2016 elections.
The political advertisements of Pride was initially published on March 25, the said ad includes children who reminded their respective parents in order to vote smartly in the upcoming 2016 national elections simultaneously targeting the opponents of LP presidential candidate Mar Roxas.
The spiels provided by the kids in the 34-second advertisement sounds like an attack on the rivals of Mar Roxas based on several netizens. Though the video ads wasn’t played any more in different local TV stations, the web based form of the ad was also removed by the company.
According to analysis, the company powering the ads of Pride Detergent, the ACS Manufacturing Corporation or the Affordable Care Satisfaction, is handled and also controlled largely by the Supertran family, neither ACS nor Supertran contributed to the ruling Liberal Party, however their origins was tracked in the Province of Capiz, the home town of Mar Roxas.
