Know as the “Daredevil” in the PBA, Jared Dillinger is now officially a member of the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel.
This news was confirmed via a tweet of PBA official account.
The Gin Kings head coach Tim Cone seems like estatic learning that 6-foot-4 forward will join his squad.
“I heard that he was released by Meralco and I know that our management has been talking to him, but I haven’t heard for sure that he has signed with us,” Cone said.
“If it’s true, we obviously are extremely happy to have him. He’s a multi-talented guy that I’ve pursued for many years.”
Though Dillinger is now part of the team NSD roster, the former second overall pick will still remain unavailable to play as he continue to heal his injury.
Once healthy, Dillinger can play either two or the three position. He is also a dead-shot from three-point land, a talent that Ginebra needed especially as they go deeper in the playoffs.
