Barangay Ginebra San Miguel rookie Jett Manuel was finally able to stepped in and logged his first PBA official playing minutes.
Coach Tim Cone decided to insert Manuel inside the basketball court to join his Gin Kings teammates with only 17.4 seconds in the third quarter.
He replaced Scottie Thompson who was beasting the boards against Kia with his 14 rebounds along with his 12 markers.
The 20-year-old standout from University of the Philippines made his first scoring attempt from the three-point territory but went short.
Then on 8:04 marker of the fourth quarter, Sol Mercado was able to find Manuel open from the perimeter and recorded his first two points as a professional basketball player.
Manuel is also dubbed as the second coming of Jeff Chan. Apart from their look-a-like appearance, both of them are deadly from behind the three-point arc. The former Gilas Pilipinas cadet shown his long-range shooting ability against Eric Camson.

With shot clock down to seven seconds, probably Jett Manuel gathered all of the confidence he got and prove to everyone especially to coach Tim Cone that he deserved more playing time. Without hesitation, Manuel shoots for a three-pointer and made a rare four-point play.
Manuel finished the game with 12 points in just eight minutes of basketball action.
