There’s a rumor flying inside the social media-verse that San Miguel Beermen center June Mar Fajardo got a multi-million pesos offer from a Chinese team.
That story was shared by Snow Badua, a Filipino sports journalist who writes articles for spin.ph. He posted a snippet of the story via his twitter account though he didn’t mentioned which exact Chinese squad wanted Fajardo’s service.
His tweet immediately got the attention of former SMB import Chris McCullough who helped the franchise securing the title of the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
Without a doubt, Fajardo is a big talent in basketball. At 29-years-old, he already amassed five Most Valuable Player trophies plus helping San Miguel to win a total of eight titles during his stint with the team.
In this 44th edition of the PBA, Fajardo is once again one of the favorites to win the MVP award most especially if they’re able to capture the elusive grand slam at the end of the third conference.
