Ateneo Blue Eaglets center Kai Zachary Sotto has announced that he’ll be leaving the country soon to play overseas.
After consulting his parents and mentors, Gilas Pilipinas 23 for 23 member Kai Sotto announced that he will train overseas full-time to reach his NBA dream.

Earlier, there were indeed rumors that the promising Pinoy teenager will be playing in Europe to hone his skills.
Sotto made it official when he published his decision via instagram.
The 16-year-old son of Ervin Sotto said that he’ll be focusing his goal on making it to the 2021 or 2022 NBA Draft.
“I want to devote the next two to three years to single-mindedly focus on my goal of joining the NBA by 2021 or 2022.”
Sotto promised that he’ll work hard in his chase of becoming the first homegrown full-blooded Filipino basketball player to enter the premier basketball league in the world.
“I will train very hard and sacrifice and focus in the next few years so that one day soon, you will be very proud of me.”
Though Sotto didn’t provide any details of which country or which team he will join overseas but according to foxsportsasia, the 7-foot-2 Filipino teenager may choose to go to Europe.
