For many, it’s the start of the long weekend but for Picanto and Elite their work continues especially on entertaining PBA fans.

The hope of joining the next round of the 2017 PBA Governors’ Cup is getting dimmer for Kia. They need to win all of their remaining games and probably force a knockout game.

While for Blackwater, bouncing back after their magnificent three-game winning streak is also a must to prevent them getting buried in the losing hole of the standings.

That’s what exactly coach Leo Isaac wanted to see from his squad. How they will handle the situation especially coming from a franchise-best back-to-back-to-back victories.

“We need to bounce back and get a win versus Kia,” said Isaac on the eve of the match.

“The character of our team will be put to the test in our game tomorrow coming off a loss yesterday.”

Kia will be returning back in action to play another official basketball game after its almost two weeks break.

To boost its chances to qualify for the Quarterfinals round, coach Chris Gavina will be parading a new import.

Kia will introduce Geron Johnson and will replace Markeith Cummings who averaged 26.4 points and 8.0 rebounds in his seven games stint with the team. Johnson is a product of University of Memphis and also played in NBA D-League.
