The Biñan City Laguna Heroes is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the GenSan Warriors at 6:30 P.M. on July 9, 2019 live from the San Andres Sports Complex, Malate, Manila City.
The Heroes will try to stamp their fifth win this evening while the Warriors wanted to avenge their most recent defeat when the 2019 MPBL Lakan Cup resume in Malate.
Allan Mangahas took the heroic role in their last game versus the Cebu City Sharks last July 3.
With only six seconds remaining in the extra period, Mangahas made a floating jump shot to seal the deal.
He also flirted with a triple-double performance with his 22 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists.
After they opened a splendid 27-20 in the first quarter, the GenSan group lost fire in the succeeding quarters when they faced the Manila Stars last July 4.
The Warriors gave up 32 points from the paint and 12 more markers for their opponent’s second chance to score.
Mike Williams paced GenSan with his 21 points, seven rebounds and seven assists.
