The Biñan City Laguna Heroes is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Nueva Ecija MiGuard at 6:30 P.M. on June 29, 2019 live from the San Andres Sports Complex, Malate, Manila.
The MiGuard are looking to pick up their second victory this 2019 MPBL Lakan Cup while the Laguna Heroes wanted to end their two-game slump when the tournament resume at the San Andres Sports Complex this evening.
The Biñan squad committed 21 turnovers against the QC Capitals in their recent outing and that was one of the reasons why they lost the game.
From those errors, it gave their opponent an extra 34 points. Not only that, the Heroes needed more scoring lift and fresh legs from its bench.
They were also outscored in the bench production, 59-38 and they were outrun by the Capitals where they gave up 27 markers.
The needed adjustment are for sure in place for their tonight’s ball-game.
For the Nueva Ecija camp on the other hand, they made a late rally versus the Manila Stars in their last outing.
Yet, time wasn’t on their side as the Stars piled a much larger lead in the first three quarters.
The MiGuard trio led by JR Cawaling, Jerwin Gaco and Marlon Monte are expected to anchor the offense of their squad this evening.
