Multi-awarded singer Ms. Lea Salonga made a video post saying that she broke her leg during her vacation in Hokkaido, Japan.
Using her official instagram account, Ms. Salonga added a caption on the short video clip saying “An announcement! But know that I’m okay, sense of humor intact. See you all soon, sitting down!”
Probably Lea still learning some ski tricks particularly on how to make a stop.
“I broke my leg on a slope. Clearly, I have not learned the art of stopping so I crashed pretty hard and I broke my tibia,” Lea said in her instagram message.
She even shown the crutches which she is currently using.
“I’m making this video just to let you know, uhm that I’m gonna taking a couple of extra items in my luggage namely a pair of crutches,” she said.
Yet, despite of that accident, Lea gave assurance to her fans that her scheduled concert are still a go.
“But that doesn’t mean that the concerts aren’t pushing through. This is just to let you know I am okay, I can sing and I will see you in Hong Kong, in Singapore, in the UK sitting down more than I normally would,” she said.
Likewise, during the month of hearts she will be the special guest of Josh Groban in an after Valentines day concert in Manila.
That concert is called “Bridges Tour Live” is scheduled on February 22 and it will be in the Mall of Asia Arena.
Probably one of the main reasons why Lea is in Japan is because of her 15th wedding anniversary where she celebrate along with her husband, Robert Charles Chien.
“Happy Anniversary to the man that takes me on adventures I’ve never been on!!! Thanks for this holiday, Hon!!! Love you!!! #15andCounting,” she wrote.
