There is only one scheduled game tonight at 7:00 PM and it’s the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup Finals Game 1 between the San Miguel Beermen and the Magnolia Hotshots Pambansang Manok.
The Beermen has finally determined its worthy opponent in the championship round and that’s the same team they have clashed last year.
Coach Leo Austria and his SMB players are eyeing for that elusive five straight All-Filipino trophy while Hotshots head coach Chito Victolero wanted to avenge their 2018 Philippine Cup Finals defeat.
To amplify the chances of San Miguel, this year’s version of their team have plenty of new looks and two names are shining. That’s Terrence Romeo and Christian Standhardinger.
For the Hotshots, they’re bringing in the same core as last year’s but with a much improved team chemistry.
