Below are the issues tackled in today’s episode:
- For the first complaint, Ms. Rapunzel Salazar complained against her former live-in partner, Mr. JR Del Rosario. According to the complainant, while working as an entertainer in Metro Manila to make ends meet and acquire enough money to support her first-born child, her infant stayed with her grandmother. JR then went to her relative’s house and took the now nine-month-old baby without the complainant’s knowledge. Reiterating that the respondent deceived her relatives to get her baby, JR told her that Rapunzel must give him thousands of pesos for him to return her child. JR is not the biological father of Rapunzel’s baby, and they are not married.
- Ms. Ana Rose Matimtim, an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) who was injured and maltreated by her employer in Kuwait, gave updates on her case. Ana Rose was already retrieved from her employer and is now safe and sound, staying in her recruitment agency’s station in Kuwait. Ana Rose previously contacted the program to secure her safety from the hands of her Kuwaitee employer, who, according to her, planned to ditch her in the desert.
- For the next complaint, another OFW complained, Mrs. Lilibeth Jamera. The complainant lodged a complaint against her husband, who recently sent her a video wherein he was maltreating his very own daughter, who was heard crying nonstop in the video while her very own father punched her. According to Lilibeth, her husband has done this because she failed to sent monetary support. The complainant’s children, who were formerly staying with their abusive father, were already rescued.
- To end the program on a positive note, Ms. Anghela Villafuerte, now working for the Raffy Tulfo in Action, gave updates on her recovering mother. Afterward, Ms. Queenie Rosario, a working student in Honolulu, Hawaii, who previously spearheaded a fundraiser for Anghela’s mother, reiterated that she was able to collect around $1000 as donations for Anghela’s mother.
