Scottie Earl “the Pearl” Thompson is one of the hottest players donning the Barangay Ginebra uniform in this generation.

With his ability to score and most of all to out rebound opposing team’s big men makes him close to the hearts of Gin Kings faithful.

Thompson helped the franchise which former PBA player Sonny Jaworski popularized back in the 80s and 90s to win a championship during the 2016 PBA Governor’s Cup.

His fame is like a wildfire and even catches the attention of Kapamilya actress Liza Soberano who once played the role of Serena in the hit soap opera Dolce Amore.

Back in 2016 or during the heat of a championship game between Meralco Bolts and Barangay Ginebra, Liza sent her good luck message to the always-energetic guard who wears jersey number 6.
