The Magnolia Hotshots Pambansang Manok is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the GlobalPort Batang Pier at 5:00 P.M. on May 12, 2018 live from the AUF Sports Arena & Cultural Center in Angeles City, Pampanga.

GlobalPort is indeed now a Stanley Pringle team after Terrence Romeo got traded to Talk ‘N Text KaTropa Texters. Pringle scoring is consistent in their first three games and was even named as one of the four PBA players who will represent the country this coming FIBA 3X3 World Cup.
Likewise, Sean Anthony also stepped up his game and teased a triple-double performance against the Blackwater Elite in their last outing. Anthony who is one of the five players in the 2016 PBA Mythical Team logged 29 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists in that blowout game.
“We have a lot to work on and improve on, but I like the guys’ attitude,” said GlobalPort coach Pido Jarencio.
The Magnolia Hotshots appeared like a well-oiled machine and shown no fatigue during the first half of action against the Phoenix Fuel Masters in their last timeout. Coach Chito Victolero and his troops mounted a 16-point lead in that game.
However, they Fuel Masters orchestrated a comeback behind their sharpshooters Jeff Chan and Matthew Wright. The Hotshots weren’t able to recover and absorbed its first loss this second conference.
“We’re ready to face another tough challenge. GlobalPort is on a run so we need to be sharp and consistent,” said Magnolia coach Chito Victolero.
