The Hotshots wanted to keep its winning streak and extend to six while the Bolts will try to keep their flickering quarterfinals hopes when the 2018 PBA Governors’ Cup resumes this evening in Antipolo.
Magnolia currently holds the top spot of the standings with only one defeat. To solidify their position in the Top Four which will carry a twice-to-beat advantage, Hotshots are aiming to collect as many wins as they can.
“We’ll try to win as many games we can, and we would be happy kung saan man kami matapos,” said Victolero.
The Meralco Bolts on the other hand finally ended their losing streak in a dramatic fashion few nights ago.
The boys of coach Norman Black shown their winning form against NLEX Road Warriors the same attitude that brought them to Governors’ Cup Finals twice in a row.
The coach of Meralco wanted the same attitude from his wards this evening especially they’ll be battling the league leader.
“We are trying to stay alive and so every game for us is crucial,” said Meralco coach Norman Black for their part.
“We are playing the number one team so that makes the task even tougher. We must match their defensive intensity to come out on top,” he added.
