A three-game winning streak is the answer of the Hotshots after gone down 0-2 against the second seeded Elasto Painters.

The Hotshots are now a win away for them to have a rematch with the Beermen in the Finals of the All-Filipino Conference. However, Rain or Shine are also eager to the biggest stage of the PBA and they’ll try to push the series to a sudden death match.

For Hotshots head coach Chito Victolero, he wanted to finish the job tonight in order to close any momentum that will shift to Rain or Shine.

“We will try. The goal is to win four games to win the series. We will try to close it out Friday because we know Rain or Shine can also come back,” said Victolero.

Paul Lee who went scoreless in Game Five is expected to make a massive bounce back to help his coach reach his tonight’s goal.

In the first two games of their semi-finals series the youth squad of RoS played a major role as they took a commanding 2-0 lead. Yet, as the best-of-seven goes deeper the playoffs experience of the Hotshots went supreme.

Rain or Shine big-man Beau Belga seems agree to that theory.

“Mas experienced yung mga taga-Magnolia when it comes to this kind of atmosphere and most of our guys are bagito so less experience when it comes to this,” said Belga.

To help his younger teammates gain motivation, Belga stressed how important the All-Filipino conference and how distinct compared to other PBA tournaments.

“Hindi ito yung time para umayaw ka,” he said. “Sabi ko nga sa kanila, pag umabot to sa Game 7, ito yung hindi mo makakalimutan sa buhay mo.”

“And All-Filipino tournament ito. Next conference, di ka na magmamatter kasi may import ka na magdodominate. Ito talaga yung pinaglalabanan sa liga, yung All-Filipino Cup,” Belga added.
