The Magnolia Hotshots Pambansang Manok is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Talk ‘N Text KaTropa Texters at 7:00 P.M. on June 13, 2018 live from the Mall of Asia Arena.
KaTropa will continue its winning stride as they attempt to make even with the league leader Rain or Shine Elasto Painters at the top of the 2018 PBA Commissioner’s Cup standings while the Hotshots hopes to end its struggle and end their losing skip which is now at three.
Magnolia still can’t find a win even with their new import Justin Jackson who made its PBA debut last Sunday versus the Alaska Aces. Probably, the Hotshots are expecting that their import will drop significant figures in the stat sheet but it was Vic Manuel who overpowered them who dropped a new career-high of 35 points.
Although Jackson’s contribution to coach Chito Victolero’s team wasn’t that bad as he registered 21 points, 13 rebounds and six assists but the most important goods wasn’t delivered which is the “W”.
Coach Victolero will continue to re-shuffle his lineup until he can get the right combination as Marc Pingris and Ian Sangalang still out due to their respective injuries.
On the other hand, TNT seems have no problem either with an import or having a replacement import or even a replacement import as they only registered one loss this conference.
It seems that the addition of Terrence Romeo and Jericho Cruz to the local players rotation of coach Nash Racela doing well plus they have their “JumboTron” back as their foreign hire.
With Joshua Smith, Talk ‘N Text were 2-of-2 and looking for more as they strive to end the elimination round strong and be included to the top two teams.
