The KaTropa wanted to end their two-game losing skid while the Hotshots will try to avenge their sorry loss against the NLEX Road Warriors a few days ago when the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup goes south this afternoon.

The Hotshots were in a commanding 26-point advantage and were in control in the first three quarters during their match against the Road Warriors last Sunday.

They were able to shutdown NLEX high-scoring import Manny Harris in the first half. Yet, in the second half, coach Yeng Guiao and his troops able to respond and erased the huge deficit.

It was a dramatic ending where Jericho Cruz seems like he came from nowhere to rebound and make a put-back shot after Kiefer Ravena missed his free-throw.

That Magnolia defeat took them out from a chance of finishing the elimination round as one of the top-four squads which will be rewarded with a twice-to-beat advantage in the quarterfinals.

Talking about top-four, surprisingly the TNT KaTropa still chasing for that incentive after their whooping 7-0 start in this conference.

They had two chances to make the clinch but failed to complete it as they went through the two strong contenders, the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and NLEX Road Warriors.
