The Makati Super Crunch is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Bulacan Kuyas at 4:00 P.M. on September 2, 2019 live from the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan City.


The Super Crunch will try to extend their winning streak to six and share the top spot of the North Division while the Kuyas will make an attempt to make back-to-back victory when the 2019 MPBL Lakan Cup resumes in San Juan this afternoon.

The Makati squad is coming from a huge win against the SOCCSKSARGEN Marlins last August 27 at STRIKE Gymnasium.

Early from the get-go, the Super Crunch’s defense was quickly felt by their opponent as they held SOCCSKSARGEN to only 8 first-quarter points. The Marlins unable to recover as Makati’s rampage continues in the succeding quarters.

Edwin Asoro led his squad with 18 markers and seven boards.

For the Bulacan group, on the other hand, they were able to escape versus the Mindoro Tamaraws last August 17 at the Baliwag Star Arena.

The Tamaraws made their last stand in the fourth quarter as they outscored the Kuyas, 29-15. Yet, it was the first two-quarters performance of Mindoro has led to their demise as they only limited to only 21 points at the end of the first half.

Roldan Sara was the star player of Bulacan in that match where he delivered 12 points and six rebounds.
