The Marikina Shoemasters is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Mindoro Tamaraws at 6:30 P.M. on August 27, 2019 live from the STRIKE Gymnasium, Bacoor, Cavite.
The Shoemasters wanted to make a quick bounce-back win after they registered their first victory for the season a few days ago while the Tamaraws will try to make a back-to-back victory when the 2019 MPBL Lakan Cup resumes this evening at the STRIKE Gym.
The Marikina squad got dismantled versus the Iloilo United Royals last August 22 at the Bataan People’s Center.
The Ilonggo team pounded the Shoemasters inside the paint where they outscored Marikina, 36-18.
Yves Sazon tried to rally his team as he delivered 15 markers along with his five boards in that basketball contest.
For the Mindoro group, on the other hand, they came from a victory against the SOCCSKSARGEN Marlins last August 23 at the Muntinlupa Sports Complex.
Former PBA player Mac Baracael took the hero role in that match where he delivered three crucial points late in the fourth quarter. Enough to dispatch and keep the Marlins still win-less.
Yet, it was Francis Camacho who paced the Tamaraws for most of the duration of the game where he ended up with 32 points along with his five rebounds.
