Magnolia Hotshots guard Mark Barroca and Alaska head coach Alex Compton both got fined by Commissioner’s office after Game 4 of the 2018 PBA Governors’ Cup Finals.

Barroca needs to pay an amount of 50,000 pesos for hitting Alaska guard Chris Banchero near his private area while coach Compton slapped with 20,000 pesos for issuing statements detrimental to the league as what PBA labelled it.

In the final period of last Wednesday’s game as the game clock approaches its last two minutes, Mark Barroca was seen hitting Chris Banchero which brought the Alaska guard to the floor.

Although the Aces won the game and tied the championship series at 2-2, coach Compton still furious as he talk to the media during the post-game interview.

“If we’re gonna get punched multiple times and there aren’t calls or suspensions, I’ve got a problem with that,” said Compton.

“If you are not going to call that in the game, you are not going to have anything, punch in, as we say in my family to our kids, the male part. That’s literally a low blow. And I’m not happy about it one bit,” he added.

Game 5 of the Finals will resume on December 14, 2018 still scheduled at the Big Dome.
