Phoenix Fuel Masters guard Matthew Wright received a fresh three-year offer from his mother ball-club.

The details of the new contract of Wright isn’t available but according to spin.ph, the sharpshooter may have been given a max deal as he is considered as the team’s franchise player.

He is Phoenix’s leading scorer with his 17.6 points per outing and also their top man in the assists department with his 4.54 dimes per game.

The Fuel Masters vastly improved last 2018 PBA Governors’ Cup where they finished up second best in the season-ending tourney.

With the contract extension given to Wright, it is clear that Phoenix wanted to keep its core as they prepare for the upcoming 44th PBA season which will start on January 13, 2019.
