Meralco Bolts Import For 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup – Allen Durham

Allen Durham is coming back for another Meralco Bolts duty to be their import for the upcoming 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup.

Durham helped led the squad coached by Norman Black reach to the season-ending conference Finals two times (2016 and 2017).

During last season, he may be the busiest foreign hire in the league where he also part of the Meralco Bolts – Pilipinas during the 2018 FIBA Asia Champions Cup.

They finished fourth in that tournament after they got beaten by the Seoul SK Knights.

Durham’s familiarity and chemistry might be the main reason why he got re-hired by the Bolts.

In the 2018 PBA Governors’ Cup, their squad started slowly where they were down 1-6 in the elimination round but made winning streak which propelled them up to the semi-final stage.

They logged a total of seven consecutive wins in that run before the Alaska Aces put them in a total stop.

On the individual level, Durham is already an accomplished player in the PBA where he already claimed two Best Import awards. The only missing piece is the championship trophy which is the obvious target of his comeback.
