The Meralco Bolts is scheduled for a head-to-head semi-finals game against the Alaska Aces at 6:30 P.M. on November 17, 2018 live from the Cuneta Astrodome.
(Live stream starts at 6:30 PM PHI time.)
The Bolts will try to push the series to another knockout-game and keep their Finals hopes alive while the Aces wanted to close it and keep its winning momentum as they head to the championship round.
Looking at the series score, Alaska is ahead 2-1 plus the momentum in tonight’s ball-game is on their side after winning Game 3. Yet, that advantage should not be in the heads of Alaska players as Meralco know how to handle the situation.
The Bolts played six straight do-or-die game dates back in the elimination round up to the quarterfinals round where they met Phoenix Fuel Masters which carried a twice-to-beat advantage.
The team of coach Norman Black able to defy the odds and even took Game 1 of their semi-finals series.
“Do or die. We win or we go home. I think everybody in the locker room is motivated. We’ve been in this position before, now we’ve just got to get the outcome what we want,” said Meralco import Allen Durham.
Mike Harris was spectacular during Game 3 where he exploded with 31 points along with his monstrous 24 rebounds enough to give his team the needed victory.
Aces head coach Alex Compton was relieved after seeing Meralco unable to convert a basket in the final few seconds of the game which can potentially extend the match to another five minutes.
“They are tipping the ball around, tipping the ball around, and even Anjo Caram’s last shot. That was a huge game,” said Compton.
