The Meralco Bolts is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Blackwater Elite at 4:30 P.M. on May 19, 2019 live from the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
After the exciting 2019 PBA Philippine Cup, the import laden conference is here as the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup begins.
For its first match this afternoon, it’ll be the Bolts versus the Elite.
Meralco will be facing their former import Alex Stepheson who now switched side and will reinforce Blackwater this second conference.
In 2017 PBA Commissioner’s Cup, Stepheson helped Meralco to notch 8 wins and finished fifth in the elimination round.
That success is most likely convinced the Elite to bring in the 6’10 and 249 lbs Stepheson back to the Philippines. The franchise is also looking forward that his service will complement their prized rookie Ray Ray Parks Jr., who will make his PBA debut this afternoon.
Meralco, on the other hand, will welcome Raymond Almazan in their first official game. Although it was reported that the former Letran standout will continue to be on the sidelines due to his injuries way back to his stint from Rain or Shine Elasto Painters.
“Sinabi na rin ng PT namin (sa Rain or Shine) dati na at least two weeks bago ako makalaro ulit,” Alamazan said.
