Meralco vs Blackwater | October 18, 2019 | PBA Live Streaming – 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup

The Meralco Bolts is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Blackwater Elite at 4:30 P.M. on October 18, 2019 live from the Ynares Center-Antipolo in the City of Antipolo.

The Bolts are looking to make a quick bounce-back while the Elite wanted to make two consecutive wins when the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup resumes this afternoon in Antipolo.

Blackwater seems like they’re once again an elite team in the league after their slow start this conference.

In their last outing, they have toppled the defending champion and took advantage of the absence of their opponent’s import.

“Sobrang suwerte kami ngayong gabi dahil medyo bawas ‘yung kailangan naming depensahan,” said Elite’s head coach Aris Dimaunahan.

He also applauded the efforts of his troops against a team that finished as a runner-up in the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup.

“But, nevertheless, I give our guys credit for staying with the game plan and playing very, very well tonight.”

For Meralco on the other hand, coach Norman Black and his entire Bolts squad might already review the video where they threw away their 19-point lead and bowed down to TNT KaTropa in their last outing.

Currently, the Bolts still hold the number four spot which can give them a good reward when the playoffs start. Yet, if they’re unable to tame Blackwater this afternoon, their squad will join the middle pact and may lose their chance for a twice-to-beat advantage in the quarterfinals.
