Meralco vs Phoenix | October 6, 2019 | PBA Live Streaming – 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup

The Meralco Bolts is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters at 4:30 P.M. on October 6, 2019 live from the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Cubao, Quezon City.

The Bolts will try to make back-to-back win while the Fuel Masters will try to avoid a two-game slump when the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup resumes this afternoon in Cubao.

This 4:00 PM is a battle between two squads that have similar identities. They’re both defensive-minded teams and at the same time, they have similar imports who like to play down low either to score or grab rebounds.

Meralco’s head coach Norman Black most likely has reminded his troops of their real identity in the league as they may probably forget that when they played versus the NLEX Road Warriors.

“So we just got to continue to play solid defense. We always talk about Meralco being a defensive team, but last game against NLEX we did not play very good defense. We gave up 15 three-point shots,” Black said.

For team Phoenix, on the other hand, they surrendered to TNT KaTropa in their most recent outing.

They too got bombarded by their opponent with outside shooting as the KaTropa torched the basketball net with their 18 three-pointers.

Yet, despite that loss, coach Black sees positive to their opponent this afternoon.

“Even though Phoenix lost their last game, they played quite well against TnT Katropa. And they have a chance to win the game,” noted Black.
