Meralco vs Rain or Shine (ROS) | May 31, 2019 | PBA Livestream – 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup

The Meralco Bolts is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters at 7:00 P.M. on May 31, 2019 live from the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

The Bolts are looking to make a bounce back game after absorbing another defeat against the Gin Kings while the Elasto Painters wanted a win as they begin their journey in the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.

Raymond Almazan is considered as one of the premier big-men in the league and that’s one of the main reason why Meralco picked him up the moment they learned that the Gilas member is on the trade block.

Yet, despite not having him on the Rain or Shine active lineup last conference, RoS managed to finish the elimination round at second and was a game away for the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup Finals.

Whatever the real reason why Almazan got traded but the reality this afternoon is that he may face his former team if he gets the green light to play today.

For the Elasto Painters camp, coach Caloy Garcia is hoping that reuniting James Yap and Denzel Bowles will bring the same success for the franchise as what they did with B-Meg Llamados back in 2012 where they won a championship trophy.

Back then, Bowles was only 23-years-old but now he gain more experience to table which makes Rain or Shine more formidable.

Last year, Bowles was hired by the TNT KaTropa as their second conference import but later was released as he was declared as “not fit”.

Now it’s time for him to showcase his skills once more and prove that this time around he’s no longer a misfit.
