The 31st Dubai International Basketball Championship will start today and Mighty Sports Philippines is part of its opening salvo.
The tournament schedule is from January 23 to February 1, 2020 and will be held at the Shabab Al Ahli Sports Club in Dubai, UAE.

Tonight at 11:00 PM (PHI time), Mighty Sports Philippines will be playing against the national basketball team of the host nation, the team United Arab Emirates.
On January 24 will be up against the Al Ittihad of Aleppo then it will be followed by a four-game break. Mighty Sports will resume on January 28 versus the ES Rades and to wrap-up their preliminary round they will play versus the Beirut Sports Club on January 29.
Last year, team Philippines finished won the bronze medal after they defeated the Homenten of Lebanon. In 2019, Mighty Sports had Justin Brownlee and Lamar Odom in their roster.
The defending champions, the Al Riyadi of Lebanon is in bracket A along with American University in Dubai, Hoops of Lebanon, Al Wathba of Syria and African teams of Alexandria and Sala of Morocco.
