
The Mighty Sports Philippines swept the elimination round of the 30th Dubai International Tournament after disposing the Al Wahda Syria, 85-81.

Team Philippines was given a treat of what considered as the Middle East Asia basketball where intense physicality as its finest.
The first player who got knocked down was Roosevelt Adams in the second quarter then on the final period it was Justin Browlee.
Adams able to return in the second half and fought back against team Syria by burning the basketball net of the Al Shabab Al Ahli Club in Dubai. Adams finished the game with 21 points.
Brownlee on the other hand, he was pulled out by coach Charles Tiu after his awkward fall. The medics team available in the gymnasium already have their stretcher but Brownlee able to pull his body up as he walk back to Mighty Sports bench.

Al Wahda Syria was leading by six points in fourth quarter as the time approaches at the 4:00 minutes mark.
Then team Philippines made a mighty 14-0 run to build the needed separation and make sure that the 4-0 finish in the elims is accomplished.
The quarterfinals round will start on February 7. Mighty Sports will be playing the fourth place in the other bracket which are loaded with teams from Lebanon.
