The Mindoro Tamaraws is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Bicol Volcanoes at 6:30 P.M. on August 2, 2019 live from the Pasig Sports Complex in Pasig City.

The Tamaraws are looking to make a quick bounce-back victory while the Volcanoes wanted to log their sixth victory when the 2019 MPBL Lakan Cup continues in Pasig Sports Complex this evening.

The Mindoro squad is coming from a defeat against the GenSan Warriors last July 29 in Navotas Sports Complex.

The Tamaraws looks poise at the beginning of the fourth quarter where they even trimmed the lead of GenSan to a mere point, 69-70.

Yet in the last six minutes of the final quarter, it was all Warriors as they made Mindoro to play catch up for the remainder of the game.

Kerr Bangeles led the Tamaraws in scoring in that match where he delivered 16 points along with his three boards.

For the Bicolanos group, on the other hand, they got beaten by the Iloilo United Royals last July 27 in their home-court at the Ibalong Centrum for Recreation.

With only 48 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, Jonathan Aldave drilled his three-pointer to put his team back in contention as he trimmed the deficit to only a single point, 74-75.

However, that was the last time his team able to manufacture points and absorbed another defeat in front of their hometown fans.

Aldave led the Volcanoes in scoring during that match where he produced 18 points while shoots 3-of-6 from the three-point area.
