The Mindoro Tamaraws is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the SOCCSKSARGEN Marlins at 4:00 P.M. on August 23, 2019 live from the Muntinlupa Sports Complex, Metro Manila.
The Tamaraws are looking to end their three-game misery while the Marlins hopes that this afternoon they’ll strike their first victory when the 2019 MPBL Lakan Cup resumes this afternoon in Muntinlupa.
The Mindoro squad is coming from a defeat against the Bulacan Kuyas last August 17 in Baliwag Star Arena.
Though they were able to orchestrate a scoring spurt in the final quarter yet their eight points in the opening quarter cost them another game.
Mac Baracael and Rodel Vaygan led their team in scoring with their 16 points apiece.
For the SOCCSKSARGEN group, on the other hand, another huge loss they absorbed against the Caloocan Supremos last August 15 at the Caloocan Sports Complex.
Their opponent forced them to commit 21 turnovers which got converted to a Supremos 24 points. Likewise, their second unit was outscored by Caloocan with 50-39 score.
Marlins’ Jerome Juanico led his squad in scoring with his 14 points.
