The Bataan Risers is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Pasay Voyagers at 4:00 P.M. on September 25, 2019 live from the Caloocan Sports Complex, Caloocan City.


The Risers will try to snap their two-game losing skid while the is on a mission as they attempt to reach an eight-game winning streak when the 2019 MPBL Lakan Cup resumes this afternoon at the Caloocan Sports Complex.

The Bataan squad is coming from a loss against the Batangas City Athletics last September 14 at their own floor in Bataan People’s Center.

It was a tight ball-game until the fourth quarter until Athletics’ Ralph Olivares iced it with his pair of free throws with only six seconds remaining in regulation. Those two points were enough for them to disappoint the hometown fans of the Risers who watched the game.

John Bryron Villarias was the leading scorer of Bataan in that match where he produced 26 points and six rebounds.

For team Pasay on the other hand, they’re coming from a win against the Iloilo United Royals last September 19 at the University of San Agustin Gym.

The visiting Voyagers gave heartaches to Iloilo fans when they visited the “City of Love”.

The United Royals had the chance to either tie or even take the lead after Eric Rodriguez converted his pair of free-throws.

Yet, Pasay’s Alejandrino Antonio Inigo had a different thing in mind as he also answered back by making his crucial free-throw attempts.

Those made shots gave the Voyagers a much comfortable lead until the final buzzer was heard.

Inigo was the leading scorer for his team where he made 12 points and eight boards.
