The Bulacan Kuyas is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Davao Occidental Tigers at 4:00 P.M. on October 7, 2019 live from the Batangas State University Gymnasium, Batangas.
The Kuyas wanted to make a quick bounce-back game while the Tigers will try to stretch their winning streak to five when the 2019 MPBL Lakan Cup resumes this afternoon in Batangas.
Team Bulacan is coming from a defeat against the San Juan Knights last September 23 at the FilOil Flying V Centre.
It was a close battle for both teams as Bulacan gave San Juan a good challenge this season. With less than two minutes to go the Kuyas went a blazing 8-0 blast to put theirs within striking distance. Yet, it was John Wilson iced the game after he made one of his two free-throws.
Gwyne Mattew Capacio led Bulacan in scoring with his 18 points and seven rebounds.
For team Davao Occidental, on the other hand, they’re coming from a double-digit victory against the Batangas City Athletics last September 27 in Dubai, UAE.
That time around, the Tigers used the three-point area to secure the victory. They made nine three-pointers versus four for Batangas.
Billy Robles was the scoring leader of Davao in that game where he delivered 17 points and five rebounds while Mark Yee continues to be consistent as he dropped another double-double performance with 16 markers and ten boards.
