The Pampanga Giant Lanterns is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Bacoor City Strikers at 7:00 P.M. on October 17, 2019 live from the University of Saint La Salle, Bacolod City.
The Giant Lanters are looking to address their two-game losing skid while the Strikers will try to stretch their winning streak to eight when the 2019 MPBL Lakan Cup resumes this evening in Bacolod City.
Team Pampanga is coming from a huge defeat against the Zamboanga Family’s Brand Sardines last October 10 at the STRIKE Gymnasium.
Their opponent went feasting inside the shaded lane and made 34 points against Giant Lantern’s 18 markers.
Felix Apreku had a double-double production in that match where he delivered 12 points and 16 rebounds.
For team Bacoor on the other hand, they’re coming from a dominating victory versus the Cebu City Sharks last October 10 also in STRIKE Gymnasium.
The Strikers demonstrated their might in the paint against the visiting team where they dominated the rebounding category which gave them more second chance to deliver points. Likewise, Bacoor’s second unit performed well in the said match.
Gabriel Banal had 21 points along with three rebounds and three assists in that said game.
