Did Ms. Vietnam Really Copied Catriona Gray’s “Slow-Mo” Turn And “Lava Walk” During The 47th Miss Intercontinental?

Ms. Ngan Ang Le Au, Vietnam’s representative for the just concluded 47th Miss Intercontinental is being accused by netizens that she copied the moves and gown design of Catriona Gray.

Nah, this is not Catriona Gray. This is Ms.Vietnam from Ms.Intercontinental. #MissIntercontinental

Many netizens has noticed this and immediately they overload several known social media sites to express their thoughts.

Indeed the dress used by Ngan Ang Le Au, Vietnam’s bet for the said beauty contest is very similar to Catriona’s Mayon Volcano inspired gown she used during the 2018 Miss Universe beauty pageant.

Not only the dress have similarity but also the signature moves of the reigning queen of Miss U seems like it were copied.

The famous “slow-mo” turn and “lava walk” were also displayed by Ms. Vietnam during the evening dress competition.

A copycat or not but still Ngan Ang Le Au did well in the competition. She was part of that Top 6 finalists and finished the competition as the fourth runner-up.

Philippines bet Ms. Karen Gallman took home the crown and was named as the first Filipina to win the prestigious title of the Miss Intercontinental beauty contest.
