The Muntinlupa Cagers is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Basilan Steel at 6:30 P.M. on September 2, 2019 live from the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan City.

The Cagers will try to end their four-game losing skid tonight while the Steels are looking forward to making another winning streak when the 2019 MPBL Lakan Cup resumes this evening at the FilOil Flying V Centre.

The Muntinlupa squad came short against the Bicol Volcanoes the last time they played in their homecourt at the Muntinlupa Sports Complex.

The Bicolanos used the fourth quarter to clamped down the Cagers after they orchestrated a 25-15 surge.

John Kervin Ortuoste was Muntinlupa’s leading scorer in that basketball contest where he delivered 19 points while Biboy Enguio had his double-double effort with 18 markers and 15 boards.

For the Basilan group, on the other hand, they had no problem defeating their opponent as they made a double-digit victory against the Navotas Clutch last August 8 at the Batangas City Coliseum.

A massive 78 points inside the paint was the main offensive of the Steel in that match plus their second unit had their contribution of 63 points.

Gabriel Dagangon was Basilan’s star offensive player in that basketball clash where he manufactured 20 points along with his 4 rebounds while Anthony Bringas and Cris Dumapig added 19 and 17 points respectively.
