
The NLEX Road Warriors is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Phoenix Petroleum Fuel Masters at 3:00 P.M. on May 27, 2017 in Ynares Center – Antipolo.
It will be the last game for both the Road Warriors and the Fuel Masters this 2017 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
NLEX wanted to end their unfortunate campaign with a pride while Phoenix is eager to get a W to move to the second round of the conference.
Coach Yeng Guiao squad is already eliminated in the current PBA tournament but it doesn’t mean that their remaining game will be just a walk in the park.
Not under the watch of the man who owns multiple championship since the days of the Aerial Voyager.
“We want to exit with some pride,” said NLEX coach Yeng Guiao.
NLEX’s new acquisitions are also working hard and wanted to show to the management that trading them is a no mistake.
“Winning the game without an import in the last five minutes showed there’s a new resolve in our team. They want to prove themselves. They want to show we’re improving. We’re struggling, but we’re learning our lessons and we’ll bring them in the next conference,” said Guiao.
Phoenix is on the verge of elimination and coach Ariel Vanguardia understand their situation.
“Nasa amin lahat ng pressure,” said Phoenix coach Ariel Vanguardia.
