There’s one assurance after the game of KaTropa and the Road Warriors, that is, one team will be no longer winless.
However, there’s also another one where both teams obviously don’t like. That is one of them will remain zero win this 2019 PBA Philippine Cup.
According to Magoo Marjon during his coverage with the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and San Miguel Beermen game last Sunday, he saw coach Yeng Guiao and the entire Road Warriors went out from their dugout one after their scheduled match versus the NorthPort Batang Pier.
That’s because NLEX suffered another defeat and the veteran coach most likely wanted his to have a sense of urgency and avoid another loss this evening.
“We’re disappointed with our 0-2 start, but I’m not losing hope,” said NLEX coach Yeng Guiao. “We’re bound to get better. We’re trying to stay positive at this point.”
For the KaTropa’s side on the other hand, last Saturday they have the healthy Yousef Taha back in their lineup.
Without Miranda and Troy Rosario who is still nursing an injury, it seems that coach Yeng and his Road Warriors got the edge in their 7 PM schedule. Also TNT will continue to miss the services of Jericho Cruz who is also out due to an injury.
In their last outing against Phoenix, RR Pogoy scored 30 points but it got overshadowed when his team absorbed another defeat.
