The Talk ‘N Text KaTropa is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the NLEX Road Warriors at 7:00 P.M. on October 25, 2019 live from the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Cubao, Quezon City.

The KaTropa wanted to keep their hot streak continue while the Road Warriors will try to be the first team this conference to put a stain in TNT unblemished record when the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup resumes this evening at the Big Dome.

Without a doubt, TNT is currently playing superb basketball and it shows to their record in the standings at 7-0.

Yet, if someone will go deeper into the details, it seems that the squad headed by coach Bong Ravena and active consultant Mark Dickel, their winning margin is getting thinner and thinner.

In their last outing, they were forced by the cellar-dweller Alaska Aces to play in the overtime. Thanks to the scoring outburst of their import KJ McDaniels in that extra period for them to escape with a win.

For NLEX on the other hand, coach Yeng Guiao and the rest of the Road Warriors management took a big gamble midway this third conference.

They have replaced Olu Ashalou despite helping them to have a good start which resulted in a 4-1 record.

NLEX tapped the services of Manny Harris, a player that someone couldn’t resist hiring once available as described by the former national team head coach.

“We took a big gamble, actually. Olu was doing really well for us. He brought us to where we are now. We took a big risk, but it seems to me after one game that it’s worth the risk, that the gamble we took was worth it,” said Guiao.
