Here are the live scores, updates, and results of the 2021 PBA Governors’ Cup between the NorthPort Batang Pier and the Blackwater Bossing scheduled on March 2, 2022, at 3:00 PM.

The NorthPort Batang Pier are having a big comeback in terms of their winning. In their first five games to start the conference, they have lost all of them. But, since then, they have already won their past three matchups, resulting in a three-game winning streak. NorthPort is looking to extend and maintain that winning momentum as they face the Blackwater Bossing this afternoon.

The Batang Pier won against Phoenix in their last contest with an eight-point lead. Jamel Artis delivered an outstanding performance for his team. The import played for all throughout the game as he had 48 minutes of aciton for NorthPort, had 29 points while shooting 9-20 from the field, had six rebounds, and made two three-pointers. However, he was not careful enough in terms of handling the ball since he also had eight turnovers.

Taha added 19 points as he came from the bench while Santos, who is part of the starting lineup, almost finished the game with a double-double, tallying 15 points and 9 boards. Not only that, but the veteran forward also had three blocks on the defensive end.

In addition to NorthPort’s scoring production, Malonzo had 13 points while Balanza had 12.

Meanwhile, Blackwater is still yet to win a contest within the conference and they are currently having an eight-game losing skid.

Despite of the huge rally in the fourth quarter, Blackwater still falls to the Barangay Ginebra in their last matchup. Blackwater scored 36 points in the fourth quarter against the opposing team’s 20. The contest ended with Ginebra having a nine-point winning margin against the Bossing.

Glover and Casio both put up impressive outputs for the team, but it was not enough to deliver their first win. Glover tallied 29 points while Casio had 27. Casio also splashed down eight three-pointers on his 13 attempts from outside the three-point arc.
