The Parañaque Patriots is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Caloocan Supremos at 4:00 P.M. on August 21, 2019 live from the JCSGO Seed Dome, Quezon City.
The Patriots are looking to put an end to their woeful two-game slump while the Supremos wanted to extend their winning streak to five when the 2019 MPBL Lakan Cup resumes this evening in Quezon City.
The Nueva Ecija squad is coming from a huge defeat versus the league-leading San Juan Knights Go for Gold last August 12 at the FilOil Flying V Centre.
The Parañaque squad is coming from a defeat against the Zamboanga Family’s Brand Sardines last August 16 at the Pasig Sports Complex.
Their opponent clamped their scorers early in the first quarter where they only held to a mere eight points. As a result, they played catch up the rest of the match but the Family’s Brand Sardines don’t want to let go of the momentum until the final buzzer was pressed.
Patriots’ Jayboy Solis was their leading offensive player in that game where he registered 18 points and 6 rebounds.
For the Caloocan group, on the other hand, they had no problem disposing the SOCCSKSARGEN Marlins in their last outing at right at their home floor.
Sharing the ball and forcing their opponent to absorb 21 errors were the areas the Supremos used to pindown the Marlins.
Caloocan’s Rene Pacquiao led his squad during that match where he got a double-double outing with his 15 points and 12 boards.
