The Parañaque Patriots is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Mindoro Tamaraws at 4:00 P.M. on July 2, 2019 live from the Bulacan Capitol Gym, Malolos, Bulacan.
The Patriots are looking for their second victory while the new comer Tamaraws are searching for their ever win in the MPBL when the tournament resume this afternoon in the City of Malolos.
A disastrous four-point second quarter points against the Iloilo United Royals last June 28 cost the Patriots a game.
The two free-throws of Jemal Vizcarra and the jump-shot of Vinny Dale Begaso kept the Parañaque squad on the board or else it will be an awful zero points for their team.
Though the Patriots had their rally in the second half but those weren’t enough for them to snatch the victory.
For the Mindoro group, they made their MPBL debut last June 24 versus another expansion squad, the Bacolod Master Sardines.
Bacolod player Mark Tallo surprised them as he dropped a league’s season scoring best of 31 points.
In that game, the Tamaraws committed 24 turnovers which gave Bacolod 25 points enough for the Master Sardines to log their first victory.
Veteran Mac Baracael had a double-double effort with his 23 points and 11 rebounds while Joseph Brutas chipped in with his 21 markers and four boards.
