The Pasay Voyagers is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Davao Occidental Tigers at 8:30 P.M. on July 8, 2019 live from the Cuneta Astrodome, Pasay City.
The Voyagers wanted to register their fourth victory this evening while the Tigers will try to avoid back-to-back defeats when the 2019 MPBL Lakan Cup continue in Cuneta Astrodome.
Davao Occidental tried to snatch a win the last time they played against the Bacoor City Strikers.
The Tigers were down by eight points in the fourth quarter as the game approaches to its final two minutes, 63-71.
Mark Yee and Bonbon Custodio tried to revive their squad and refused to easily give the “W” to their opponent as they put the score within striking distance, 70-73.
However, that’s closest they could do as time was no longer on their side as the final buzzer had sounded.
For Pasay on the other hand, they came from a convincing victory versus the struggling Imus Bandera.
Led by Jan Jamon who paced the Voyagers with his 15 points and three rebounds output, they had no problem disposing Imus as they also won all of the quarters.
They Forced the Banderas to commit 16 turnovers and converted those to golden opportunities in their favor.
They converted those errors from their opponent to 21 markers.
This might be the same strategy which coach Cholo Martin going to run in front of their hometown fans.
